Meet Dr. Lilley
Dr. Lilley earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1978. He practiced general dentistry in the United States Air Force for three years before entering St. Louis University to obtain a Masters in Science in Orthodontics in 1983.
Dr. Lilley has practiced orthodontics exclusively since 1983. He is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. He is also involved in several civic organizations in Springfield.
A native of Springfield, Dr. Lilley attended Glendale High School and Texas Christian University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Combined Science and Political Science. He resides in Springfield with wife Lisa who teaches Spanish in the Springfield Public School system. Dr. Lilley has many hobbies and interests including hiking, running, reading, and following NFL football.
In 1997 Dr. Lilley built a new state of the art building at 2844 S. Ingram Mill Road to handle the growing practice. This new building has allowed expansion of our staff and yet provide each patient one-on-one care. Dr. Lilley knows each and every patient including their hobbies and even the school they attend. This is true knowledge at it's best.
Dr. Lilley would like to see children by the age of 7-8 years of age to see if the development of the jaw and the alignment of the primary teeth are clues to a developing malocclusion. Dr. Lilley does not charge for the new patient visits or any recall visits needed. The exam takes only 15 minutes and gives Dr. Lilley a base line to judge future development. Dr. Lilley's periodic observation will help lessen the length of treatment time for patients and start those that need braces at the correct time.
