"What happens at the first visit to the office?

At the first visit, Dr. Lilley will give you a complete visual examination to analyze the bite, tooth alignment and facial contour and balance of the patient. He will then discuss an individualized treatment plan for the patient. If Dr. Lilley feels treatment is necessary at this time, he will ask that records be taken to further analyze the patient's malocclusion to determine the treatment plan. The records may be taken at this initial appointment or, if more convenient, another appointment may be made at a later date.

We do not charge for the first visit, the "New Patient Appointment." Should your child not be ready for treatment at this first visit, then we will schedule a "Recall Appointment" in about 6 to 12 months to further evaluate progress made during that growth period. We do not charge for the "Recall Appointment" and the appointment can again be scheduled at your convenience.

If your child is ready for treatment then we will explain the braces, our procedures, and what can be expected in full detail.  We want you to have a complete understanding of the total treatment.  Our goal is for you to have all your concerns and questions fully explained.

For more information or to set up a "New Patient Appointment", please call our office at 881-4306.  We will be happy to answer any and all questions you might have or to schedule an appointment for you.
