What about insurance?

Orthodontic insurance is becoming more popular in company benefit packages, typically an addition to the general dental package.  Most of the packages include a cap on the amount any one family member call collect in a lifetime.  The average orthodontic coverage will range between $1,000 to $1,500 or up to 50% of the fee; which ever is less.  Our office will be happy to file all of your orthodontic claims for you and subtract the insurance amount from your total fee, thus reducing the initial fee for getting started and the monthly payments to our office.  We will confirm your insurance coverage prior to the start of treatment so that you will be informed of all your orthodontic benefits.  Please be advised that if insurance coverage should be lost for any reason then the remaining insurance balance will become your responsibility and will be included back into your fee and your payments reworked.

If your company does not offer orthodontic insurance, you may want to request the personnel department to consider adding the benefit to the company benefit package.  This benefit has helped many families offset the cost of treatment.  You may call your Human Resource Department and they should know if you have the orthodontic benefit.  Be sure to check both parents' package if both are employed.  Each parent may have orthodontic coverage, which will further reduce the out of pocket expense for the family.

Call the office and we can help with your insurance questions.
